21 CAD Self-study Notes, Zero-based CAD Can Be Seen

If you make up your mind to learn CAD by yourself, then half of the success is already achieved. The rest is to maintain this determination, understand the CAD drawing software and operation methods, and then practice, practice, and practice. Today, I would like to share with you the first 21 records of CAD self-study notes, hoping to help friends who don’t know how to start self-study CAD.

1. Line tool (shortcut key L, case insensitive). When drawing a straight line, if you follow the length + angle, after entering the length, press the Tab key to switch

2. The use of the middle mouse button in CAD: "Zoom in and out", "Press and hold the middle mouse button to move", "Double click the middle mouse button", all graphics in the drawing area can be displayed. For graphics that exceed the frame size, you can press the middle mouse button twice to display them completely.

3. Delete tool: "Select the object to be deleted, and then press the Delete key", use the delete tool shortcut key E

4. Polar coordinates: To enter polar coordinates, enter the distance and angle, separated by angle brackets, for example:

To specify a point at an angle of 45 degrees, one unit from the previous point, enter 1<45.

By default, the angle increases in the counterclockwise direction and decreases in the clockwise direction. If you want to move in the clockwise direction, you need to enter a negative angle value.

You can use the UNITES command to list the angle conventions of the current drawing.

5. Construction line: shortcut key XL

6. CAD selection skills:

a, select from left to right, you must completely frame it to select

b, select from right to left, touch can be selected

C, click

7. Ray: shortcut key RAY

8. Arc: shortcut key A/ARC

9. Polyline: shortcut key PL

Note: Polylines can not only draw straight lines, but also draw arcs, and the set of half-width and width can draw arrows.

10. Circle: shortcut key C

11. Trim tool shortcut key TR The most commonly used is TR-Space-Select Object to Trim” Sometimes the parts that cannot be trimmed can be selected and then deleted.

Note: Hold down Shift to extend the object.

12. Drawing principle: first position, then shape.

13. Ellipse shortcut key EL

14. Offset command shortcut key O

How to use: select the offset command - enter the offset distance - select the object to be offset - specify the offset direction (to which side to offset)

15. The shortcut key F for rounding corners can also be used to make rounded corners with tangent and tangent radius circles, and just delete the redundant parts.

16. The shortcut key for copying the rotation copy command is CO, and you can also use Ctrl+C (the direction of the image after copying remains unchanged)

Note: the copied base point is a point in the copied graph

The shortcut key for rotation is RO,

Note: The rotation point is the selected center point, and the image rotates around that point, which is not within the selected graphics.

17. Mirror image command: shortcut key MI When two objects have the same shape and are symmetrical about a certain line, you can use the mirror image command.

18. Rectangle tool shortcut key REC

19. The drawing format code of the drawing frame

20. Decompose command shortcut key X (decompose a whole into several parts). For example, when drawing the inner frame of the drawing frame, first decompose the outer frame, and then offset the decomposed straight line by an appropriate distance to obtain the inner frame.

21. The spline curve shortcut key SPL is used to indicate the crack at the break or to indicate the part that needs to be omitted.
